an afternoon at barnes and noble
sipping cappuccinos
amidst bounded leather and fluffed chairs
low volt lights beaming down
highlighting blood shot eyes
I stand before rows of books
some new, some old
some thumbed through by those passing

the words that will ease my soul
release me into the world

| My apologies that you feel that way, but what you commented on was my point. It's suppose to be describing the same old mundune things because at that moment, all I saw was the same old mudune things and I was tired of it. But thanks for your comment! |

Carolyn, I rarely comment when I have nothing positive to say, but I think you're on the wrong track here.
What you describe are the same old mundane things everybody sees when they visit B&N.
Give us some fresh, new, insights. What do you see that's different, insightful, interesting? Cobwebs in the corner? Dust on little used volumes? What sections inspire you? Self-help? History? Biographies? Fiction? Why? |
