Sexy Sapphic With An Adonic Pinch
shoes fly, clothes fly, shooting buttons on wood floors
your noble idea of waiting has been tossed
bodies meshing so close we are almost one
from gin, naked comes
(4 lines: first 3 lines with 11 syllables {sapphic}, last line 5 syllables {adonic}

Quite the cocktail you've got going here, packs a punch. I agree, the terseness the piece has lends to the overall breezy sort of feeling, a cool, sipping-on-gin affect that seems to tie it all together. Never seen this format before, but it works here. Enjoyed it.

This is a hard form, huh? Ncely done, though, and fits with the other usages for 'Sapphic' as well.
