Forbidden Dreams

Forbidden dreams of light and dark,
Never dare I speak of them.
Where lust comes to me like a tide.
Ebbing and flowing,
Darkly.

This feeling is wrong.
Like a sick drug intoxicating me.
I hide from them and try not to think.
Whilst I slowly drown,
Alone.

I reserved myself for another,
But grips loosen as the lights go out
And all becomes black again.

I don't know about you guys but the world "love" has always seemed, at least to me, as a dead word. Way to many explanations for it. As writers we try and express our world and love is a VERY personal thing.

However I am not an expert so take me with a grain of salt.

Great circular piece starting with light and dark and ending with the same theme.
This sounds like it's about wanting something in your subconscious and feeding it in your dreams. Ah the pull of the soul...

a try not to think-and/i try not to think?

I would get rid of the word 'unfortunately' or use another word there, only because you used a 'ly' word right before it and the rest of the poem doesn't have that same use of assonance.
Great imagery of the tide ebbing and flowing.
