Knight

There were knights of bold.
There were knights of cold.
All these knights from abroad
Standing in the great fisade.

They were gathered for a great feast
For the brave man killed by a beast.
The man had been tall and wise
And bothered not to disguise
His love for his tender wife.
To this woman he gave his life
And never regretted his choice.
Even though she did voice
Her true love was not him.
He gave in to her every whim,
trinket, and anything to flaunt
to fill her every want.

The woman that I have said
Should have long ago been dead
If not for out brave knight.
For she had a large fight.
The man she loved was dark,
but made her happy as a lark.
He beat his lover every day and night,
forgetting that one knight
that she belonged to.
One day he called, "Lou,
Darling, you aren't what I need.
I need young, and you lead
The old ugly parade."
"This is a sharade!"
She shouted in his face
And wept as he took his mace
And lifted it above his head.
Our brave knight, clad in lead,
Burst in for the show,
As the evil lover struck a blow.
The knight blocked the club,
Aor this man was no flub.

Little did the knight know
That this was all a show.
The lover was a wizard
And as quick and keen as a lizard.
The wizard tood a knife
And brought it down with strife
With accuracy from magic.
The woman cried, with logic,
As blood leaked on the floor.
"Well that was quite a chore",
Said the lover looked around.
The woman sank to the ground
And stroked her husband's hair.
"I'm sorry I was so unfair."
The woman wispered the the passed.
"Get out and do it fast,
I may kill you
My dear sweet Lou."
The man suddenly changed
Into quite a deranged
Wolf that crouched and jumped
Towards the frumped
Woman on the cold earth.
She screamed and mirth
Escaped the snarling lips
As he broke bones to chips
From our dear brave knight.
Lou fled the place of the fight
And did not look back,
Not wanting to hear bones crack.

There were knights of bold.
There were knights of cold.
All these knights from abroad
Standing in the great fisade.
They were gathered for a great feast
For the man killed by a beast.

Very interesting poem about knights of old, and how the lover wasn't what he seemed to be. I liked this interpretation of man against beast too. There were a few spelling errors though, recheck your work.
