I Imagine....
I imagine:
That if we direct our minds as one,
The gunner will be too confused,
To use his weapon,
The politician will write yes,
When he meant to deny us.
The vivisectionist will turn,
His back on his work in horror.
The abuser will stop,
And think why?
Collectively we may,
Through our imaginings,
Bring clouds to places,
Where rain is most needed.
Food to the hungriest hands.
I imagine we can do all of this,
Just by imagining.
Just with the power of our minds.

Beautiful piece. I really enjoyed this.
Can't help critiquing though (sorry, it's what I do). Would you consider dropping the last line? Ending with "Just by imagining." Brings it kind of full circle, doesn't it?
That's your decision of course. In any case, this is great work. |

| This poem had a really peaceful feel. It's meditative in a way and definately has some truth in it. I like your vision. |

| Aweomsone. I love it. What if?....Everyone helped each other out....If everyone put 5 minutes into helping another....the outcome?....more then I can believe....Beautiful, truthful, and in your face. :) |
