Destiny for Two Twins (ch. 1-2)

Chapter 1

[Xander]
Have you ever not been noticed and then wiped out and off the face of everyone you know and love's memories?

[Aleana]
Have you ever felt like you were living a lie like you were meant to do something more with your life?
[Both]
Have you ever wished that you had someone who would completely understand your every waking move, and know why you did something?

[Xander]
We have, and we do, everyday that we live in our 'lives', until we meet one another again'¦

[Aleana]
And when that day comes, we will become our true destiny's'¦

[Both]
This is our story.

~1980~

"Brendan," whispered a weak female's voice as she shivered from across the room.
"Yes, my love?" he answered softly, as he walked over to her.
"The children, they're coming, you need to prepare your self go to the next room and get the blankets and amulets," she said as she propped herself upright. He ran quickly to the other room as she eased herself off the bed, and onto the floor.

"Good, put them in front of me," he did so "Now relax and close your eyes with me'¦they're scared because you're scared'¦" he held her hand and closed his eyes, as they began to chant.

"Hollow is the sun, and the moon, I am the daughter of the stars'¦and he is the son of the earth'¦let me be free of these children and let them live their destiny." The dark room filled with light from her eyes, mouth, finger tips, toes, and stomach as she slowly began to levitate up into the air she slowly began to move into a circle as two small figures immerged from within her. As she came to rest upon the floor, the twins landed softly on the two blankets. The girl rested upon the half sun golden blanket, and the boy rested upon the half moon sea blue blanket.

"Ah, my children, Anastasia may the sun light show your very warmth of you heart, and mind. And Alexander may the moon side as deep as your heart and soul. On this day of September 4, in seventeen years to come they will become their true forms'¦if they meet again." The woman gently place's an Aztec moon around Alexander's neck and it shrink's to fit him. She then kisses his left wrist and a moon birth mark appears, "Both of these are so you can find each other, the mark of the moon, and the mark of the Sun." she explains as she finishes putting the amulet on Anastasia, and then kisses her left wrist.

"Lola, you must hurry, where do you want me to take them, the Uraguans will be here soon." Said Brendan as he was slowly pacing the room, while she was giving the children their amulets.

"I have left addresses on their blankets, take them to each family ring the doorbell and cloak yourself. You must not be seen by them, make sure the child gets in the house BEFORE you leave, the Uraguans mustn't get a hold of them, our very existence depends on them, then you must do the duty of watching them as they grow up, when they turn of age, you have to make sure they meet." Lola explained to him slowly as she picked up the children and put each one, in and individual basket.

"How must I do that?" Brendan asked confused.

"You'll know, I must go and be a distraction'¦go now and be safe my love'¦" she said good-bye to the children and was gone.

Chapter 2
[Xander]

I tossed and turned until I realized 'crap'¦I'm going to be late if I don't get up,' I turn over on my stomach and looked at my clock it read
7: 24, I've got plenty of time. I roll over to get up and [thump!] "Owe, there's a floor there," I get on my hands and knees blink a couple times, and look around, then I sat with my back against a wall and reach up, smack the wall lightly and hit the light switch, joys of living in a trailer, your parents know when your up.

"Morning Son, Happy Birthday!" yelled my dad, crap I forgot it was my 17th birthday.

"Morning Dad Thanks," I yelled back, as I got up to my feet, looking for a shirt. I need a clean shirt'¦.that'll do. "Gosh my room's a mess, oh well." I chuckled and went to go use the bathroom.

"So how's Ben doing?" my dad asked, it's just me and him alone no one else my mom died when I was really little. So I'm kind of used to it just being us.

"Good, he said he might come over and hang today," I said as I grab my toothbrush and tooth paste and started to brush my teeth, when I was done I grabbed a brush and wet my hands down slightly with water and brushed my hair, then I put some gel in it and walked out, back to my room as I slapped on some deodorant and cologne.

"Anyways sorry, he said he might come over and hang for a little bit, and we might go shoot some pool and even go chill at this party some chick invited him to." I said looking for breakfast, I found a bowl and some cheerios, and poured me a bowl as I got the milk out of the fridge. "That ok with you?"

"Yeah as long as you keep you cell on you'¦" my dad said, as he said later and left to work. As he left I got up and took care of my bowl and saw that the clock read 7: 45. I ran to grab my favorite wallet and my keys and headed to school.

[Anastasia a.k.a Aleana]

I toss and I turn and pop straight up as I hit my head on my head board. "Owe, headboard'¦" I roll to my side holding my head and [thump!]"OWE! Floor'¦ok this isn't funny," as I get up I prop myself up against the wall and hear footsteps from up the hall, it's my Mom.

"Morning Sweetie Happy birthday!" she said through the door, crap I forgot today was the 4th, my 17th birthday, is that normal? I reach and smack my wall and turn on the light, as I look at my Clock I see it reads
7: 24, "Oh man'¦I'm going to be late school starts at like 8: 15'¦well I could make it if I tried." I got up grab a pair of pants, a shirt and ran to the bathroom across the hall. I grabbed a 15 minute shower. And blow dried my hair, I brush my teeth then I walked into my room and put deodorant and perfume on, "Time is 7: 55, I can still have breakfast if I hurry." So I ran to the kitchen and, joy of living in a two bedroom apartment with one other person'¦your mom, she knows your low maintenance and that you always need a ride.

"Need a ride?" asked my mom, as I scarfed down my food, I nodded fast enough to almost give me whiplash.

I grabbed my homework, as I took care of my dishes, and we left to school at 8: 00.

Your story is very mystical. I find it fascinating. I didn't finish reading it (I'll save it for when I'm in the mood for reading such a long piece), but here is some grammar advice:

Chapter 1:

Watch your use of "their/they're/there." You used their a couple times when you meant they are (they're).
Watch your use of apostrophes. They are never used to make something plural, or to make a verb singular. Example: you said "the woman place's" when you meant places. Same with shrink's.
When you're talking about gaining possesion of something, you say "ahold" not a hold. It's 1 word.
Brendan asked confused should be Brendan asked, confused.

Chapter 2:

Watch verb tenses. In the first line, you change from saying "I look" (present) to "it read" (past).
Also, your sentences in the first paragraph are long and confusing. Try separating them into shorter sentences.

Very nice story line. You just need to watch your grammar. I also agree with Robert. Separate it into chunks and it will be much less intimidating.

Gehvyn, I liked the unique manner that you used to open this story. Your writing voice comes across smoothly and consistently. My only suggestion is to break this up into smaller parts, because the sheer size of this upload will intimidate readers. --Robert Barlow
