Destiny for Two twins (ch 3-4)

Chapter 3
[Both]
As Xander did his combination to his locker, he noticed that Ben was talking to a rather familiar girl, wearing converses," Ben, Come here!" he said motioning to them. As they both walked over, Xander opened up his locker to see books and papers on the bottom of is locker. And his Binder on the top of the mess, "Hey, are we going to go and play pool after school today?" asked Ben as he looked skeptically into Xander's
locker and scanned the mess.

"Yeah, when are we going to go to the arcade?" Asked Xander as he closed his locker before everything fell out as he grabbed his binder and Health book.

"There, or we could go to, Little Jimmies the restaurant," Ben stated as he leaned up against the lockers.

"Don't go to Little Jimmies," jumped in the girl, "The pool tables are nasty, and their missing their balls." She explained as she brushed her golden brown hair out of her hazel green eyes. "Hey, my names Aleana," she said holding out a soft olive hand, that had a wrist band on it.

"Xander, short for Alexander, don't ask," he said smiling, as he bent down to tie his shoe. "So where you from, I've never met you before'¦"

"Downtown, you know'¦the east side Busy Bee's '¦yeah'¦whoa, not," she said chuckling to herself, as she helped him with his stuff.

"Hey I have to go to class, Hey we might go to that party you invited me to, is it ok if Xander goes with me?" Ben asked her as she straightened her self up and they all started to walk toward their classes.
"Yeah, but I might be working, so don't be surprised if I'm not there right away," she explained, as she was about to turn into her class.

"Wait, you were the chick that invited him?" Xander asked freaked out, as he looked her over.

"Yeah why?" Aleana asked him surprised.
"Because I thought it was at Courtney's house," Xander said thrown off as he wiped his head in thought.

"It is, she's one of my best friends, I need to get in my class so I'll see you guys later okay?" said Aleana, as she chuckled and said goodbye.

It was about 3: 30 when Ben and Xander decided to go to the arcade. They drove up in a old bet up Chevy four door that's color was wearing off.

It was Xander's baby, when they walked into the arcade they walked back to the pool table and waited till someone who worked there noticed they needed to be waited on.

"So let me get this straight, your dating Courtney, who is friend's with Aleana'¦she met her when she moved here like a week ago and you know Aleana through your girlfriend'¦did I get it right this time?" asked Xander as he inspected the table.

"Yes, after the 45th try, you finally got it. But do you see why she invited me?" Ben asked, as he got up on the pool table and waited.

"No actually I don't why didn't Courtney just do it herself?" Xander asked in a smart-alecky tone of voice.

"Because Courtney wants her to get to know me, and my friends'¦a.k.a you, get it now?" asked Ben getting tired of explaining things.

"Actually-" Began Xander as Aleana walked up, in a forest green vest and a permanent marker in her right hand.

"Can I help you guys?" she asked with a glitter in her hazel green eyes.

"It's about time someone found us, gosh," said Ben under his breath.

"Yeah-what are you doing here?" asked Xander quickly as he walked over and looked at her vest.

"I work here, along with the Quick-E Mart too, as a bagger, why?" she asked looking at him weird.

"I was just wondering, we need to cash a five dollar bill for some quarters, so we can play pool," he handed her a five and she walked over to a podium that said 'cash' on it, she opened the side, and pulled a roll of quarters out.

"Here you go anything else I can do?" she asked as she put two rolls in her vest pocket.

"No, I think we're good." Said Ben as he grabbed the quarters and went to go put them into the table.

She nodded bye and turned to walk and patrol, as something fell from her wrist. Xander walked over to it, and picked it up as it began to slightly glow, he noticed it was a half Aztec sun; he pulled up his sleeve and look at his birth mark on his left arm'¦and saw that they were half in almost the same areas.

"Ben I'll be right back," he said as went looking for Aleana, 'Where is she, I have to find her' he thought.

"Hey Xander, there's no running in the arcade!" yelled a familiar voice. He turned around to face Aleana, quickly he grabbed her shoulder with his left arm and noticed that his sleeve was still up.

"Do'¦I'¦"he slowly catches his breath," Pull up you left sleeve for me," he said, as he showed her his arm her eyes were huge.

"Oh my god'¦" she grabbed her arm, and pulled up her sleeve, to reveal a matching half sun to the charm he found off the floor.

"Is this yours?" he showed her the charm bracelet he found on the floor, and waved it in front of her face.

"Where'd you get that?" she grabbed her right wrist, and noticed it was gone.

"It fell off of you and I noticed that it looked like my birth mark. But the weird thing is I have one of these too." He pulls out his wallet and shows her the half blue Aztec moon in his wallet, both their eyes get huge as they start to think.

"What do you think this means?" asked Aleana as they walked toward the employee lounge, and sat down.

"I don't know I'm just as confused as you." He set his wallet next to her bracelet and they both stared at the objects for a couple seconds.

"The weird thing is it's my birthday," said Xander as he thought out loud, and looked at her.

"It is, how old are you turning?" she asked suspiciously.
"17, why?" he asked, as he became uneasy very quickly.

"You were born September 4, 1980?" she asked quickly, with a very freaked out look on her face.

"Yeah why?" he asked getting more freaked out.

"Ok this is really weird, so was I, to day is my 17th birthday." She said, with a weird uneasiness about it.

Just as they started thinking again, the objects on the table started to move and shake on the table but just slightly. With those slight vibrations, they came close enough together that they gravitated and pulled together, and with a sudden burst of energy they flew up in to the air and fell, back on to the table.

"What in the'¦" they leaned forward to see what had happened, and saw that their halves made a whole.

"God I'm confused," said Aleana as she got up to go and open the back door.

"What are you doing?" asked Xander, as he watched her.

"Everyday around this time, I have a homeless man who comes by and I give him something to eat.

"Brendan! Hey there you are," she helped him up, and to the chair.

"Well I see you have a visitor," said the man, as he eyed Xander.

"Yes we do, his name is---" began Aleana, as Brendan interrupted her.

"I know what his name is, and I know more about you two then you think'¦" he get up and bends down, grabs the bottom of his coat and rips it off, to reveal, the real Brendan, the young freshly shaven Brendan. "Ahhh! That's better, now I can sit upright, now I see that you too have found all the clues that was left for you, so I think you might need a little bit of explaining from me. Am I right?"

They just sat there and looked completely dumbfounded at what they had just seen, "Alright, well then where to start."

Chapter 4
As they all three sat there, Brendan looked at the table and saw that their amulets were together, as a whole. As his eye's started to shine he looked at them, and smiled. He got up from his chair and started to pace, "Ok where to start were to start," he said once again as he scratched his slightly tanned chin.

"How about telling us why we both have birth marks, and charms, that are, I guess, suppose to be together," said Xander giving him a starting point.

"They're amulets, I will start there, but it's going to be a long story, seventeen years ago on this very day, both of you were born in the same room'¦by the same woman'¦your biological mother, her name is Lola. And she gave you those amulets so you could fine each other and the same with those birthmarks," said Brendan as he stopped pacing and propped himself up against the counter.

They both looked at each other, in total shock. They just met, and now this man is saying they're siblings? WHAT?!

"Are you insane Brendan? How'¦why would she separate us in the first place?" asked Aleana completely stupefied from what he just said.
"Because she was afraid of what might happen to you if she didn't both of you are what is known as the 'Twin Avatars', it's extremely rare, but when it happens everyone knows where you are, and who your with. Your mother dubbed me as your 'watcher' so I've watched you both grow and come to age, from a distance. Now I must take you both, from what you know, and take you to what you'll remember." He said as he sat down, leaving the facet running with warm water, as he sat down. He closed his eyes and held out his hand a jet of water came straight from the sink to his hand sand made different shapes.

"Whoa, how did you do that?" asked Xander looking for some way to figure out the faulty trick.

"I used my mind," said Brendan as the water went zipping back to the sink.

"That was cool I admit, but what do you mean you'll take us to what we'll remember?" asked Aleana as she started to play with her charm bracelet.

"In the back of both of your minds, you both have stored your destiny's when you get your powers in full swing and know how to use them'¦everything will come back to you I swear." He said standing as in ready to leave already, "Alexander, there's no fault I used my third eye in my head, it's all in the concentration'¦" he said as he pointed to his head.
Xander looked at him, and would not stop'¦something was odd about this'¦he could sense it'¦just then the lights started to warp in and out'¦"Whoa, what was'¦'¦'¦'¦.that'¦." said Xander just as it went completely dark.

"Sorry, I'm a little overwhelmed'¦." Said Aleana slightly embarrassed.
"It's ok, I've got really good night vision, whoa! Aleana, do you see that?" asked Xander freaked out, looking in the general direction of where Brendan was standing, he saw blue, purple and light yellow waves'¦like heat waves coming off of him. Like it was some kind of heat aura or something.
"See what, I don't see anything, I have really bad night vision," she said as she stood really still.

"That's because your mother gave you the power of the sun, that's why you can control the lights in the room, if you get overwhelmed, or really happy it might turn back on," explained Brendan, "Alexander explain what you're seeing around me."

"Yellows, blues and purple'¦" said Xander slowly as he sat down in a chair.

"Remember those colors, if you look at your sister, you'll see she has the same colors but more yellows then anything, right?" Xander nods, just as the lights in the lounge start to come back on, "Well you have the power of the moon, you have superb night vision it's almost like it's day to you, on top of that, you see heat aura's but the yellow, blue, and purple tell you in the dark, that their the people that we know and love, the reds, greens, and oranges tells us their the people who are going to attack us. I see heat auras as well." Explained Brendan as he sat down.

"Can I ask you something?" asked Xander

"Yes what is it?" asked Brendan, looking at him.

"Why do you keep calling me Alexander, no one call's me by that'¦except my dad, when I'm in trouble." Said Xander as he looked at him funny.

"Alexander is your right full name, your father knows about you and your destiny, and Aleana'¦that is not your name either.'¦Anastasia is your right full name, your mother was pleased when she heard that your 'parents' had given you fake names to go by, it just made it even better for you to have a childhood." Said Brendan, as he told them to get up.

"So wait, our parents knew why didn't they say something or tell us? They could have been nice about it and at least told us'¦" said Aleana as she got up frustrated.

"They wanted to but they waited until your seventeenth birthday to say anything because then you would know more about yourselves, and you would understand the responsibility. Now both of you need to go, and talk to your parents, when your done, meet me in front of your school at 8: 00 tonight. I'll be there to take you to the airport, we have a small private plane waiting for us." Said Brendan as they said their good-byes, and they left the lounge.

"It's a good thing I'm off work, this is so weird, and we're twins'¦with like sci-fi powers'¦how bizarre." She said as they got in her old Chevy truck. Ben had left and went to Courtney's party, thinking that's were they were going to be.

"Ben's going to freak," said Xander as he sat there just looking at the floor.

"I don't think you can tell him do we have time? I mean we have to go and tell both our parents, and I don't know if we should do it alone," Aleana said as she pulled up to a stop light, Xander pulled out his cell, and started going through his numbers.

"I have an idea, how's about we tell them to meet us at a dinner, have them get separate booths, and we walk in together, then we have them sit with us together, and we talk to them '¦.together'¦IDEA?" asked Xander as he comes across his home phone, and stops just before he dials it.

"Idea, we'll do it. Let me use your cell when you're done, I need to call my mom," she said as she started to turn the corner, "We're going to'¦"

"Little Jimmies'¦" they said together by accident. They looked at each other briefly, and started to laugh, "This twin thing might be pretty cool." Aleana said quickly, as she turned left at the next light.
