FEELS GOOD...

A friend led me here. Otherwise, I wouldn't have come. This is not the type of territory I would have scoped out on my own so I most assuredly would not have known of its existence. But today, I am glad to have been directed here.

I feel at home on editred. When I write here, it has a different energy than when I write elsewhere. In fact, I have been able to churn out a reasonable amount of text over the last few days without much ado. I am in awe (of the site!) ;o)

Although I'm sure a spot like this is full of great writers, I must confess that I haven't explored it much since I've arrived. Pressing deadlines and other time constraints have kept me from exploring it fully as of this writing, but at the moment, that is o.k. When I'm blessed with the gift of extra time, I'll come back to explore as well as continue to write and post my work. In the meantime, I like the respite and the quiet.

I'm happy to be in a space without the gaudy, dressed up pages such as exists in that other über-popular social networking spot of which I am still a member (shameless!). Here I feel free to be and do me... unapologetically.

Thunderpen. Yes, I like your name. I really, really do! Also, it is my desire to keep the Big Spirit checking on me and nourishing me. I'm delighted to meet you my good sir!

Funniest thing today: I was just thinking I should write a note of thanks to EditRed, but where to post it? On MySpace as a bulletin? But LO! here you have done it.

I believe that gratitude and thankfulness make human beings palatable, if not delicious.

As messed up as is mankind (heyyy, and womankind!), gratitude and thankfulness are what keeps the Big Spirit coming back to check on us and maybe nourish this one and that one.

Thank you for thanking EditRed and thank you for the thankfulness.
