On the Inside
written as song, not a poem.
Standing in the spotlight of a shadow,
Lost in the consumption of everyone's thoughts,
We must be the nobody's down the road,
No feelings, not a single vein of compassion,
We live a cold life of disbelief; no respect,
Mistakes are made, but blame them on me,
It's all my fault; point the finger at me.
Persecution; stereotypical judgments,
This is all we get from a society that doesn't understand.
Persecution; stereotypical judgments,
This is all we get from a society that can't make a stand.
Is there any hope for change? Has all hope died?
Before you spread the blame, ask yourself this;
Who am I on the inside?
No one's perfect; get that thru your fucking skull,
Living on high; you need to come on down.
You're no better than me, no better than us,
Take a good look around.
Look in the mirror; perfection must be staring back.
Point the finger now; it's pointing back.
Persecution; stereotypical judgments,
This is all we get from a society that doesn't understand.
Persecution; stereotypical judgments,
This is all we get from a society that can't make a stand.
Is there any hope for change? Has all hope died?
Before you spread the blame, ask yourself this;
Who am I on the inside?
Persecution; stereotypical judgments,
This is all we get from a society that doesn't understand.
Persecution; stereotypical judgments,
This is all we get from a society that can't make a stand.
Is there any hope for change? Has all hope died?
Before you spread the blame, ask yourself this;
Who am I on the inside?
Who am I on the inside?
(screaming) Who am I on the inside?

Dude, whats mine say? Sweet, whats mine say? dude! Whats mine say?-
Though the pre-emptive strike was deployed at least 175 years ago, the 322 only really perfected there ability of persecution of this magnitude shortly after world war one. Too few realize the war has been waging for quite sometime. While they whore themselves to an idea of "secured freedom" at the price of a few 100,000, give or take 20 million, the real war is in the minds of the people, and no greater way can they show how they are winning, but by the sheep crying masses flocking to there beet. Hence the sole essence to that modern day nazi/redneck bias and persecution of the world. Loved the poem, another masterpeice of truisms. Thanks for the read. |
