She'll look at you with Her bedroom eyes
&he'll never notice that She's looking right past him
Right out into the night where He's lying breathless
In the arms of someone else, and She's sick inside
she's kissing a stranger who tells her she's beautiful
And goes home to another when the sun sets
But when the sun rises, he's hers and they're holding hands
she's the face he shows to the world; She's just his mistress
he'll wander his whole life through trying to please Her
&yes, She smiles, but it's a bit distracted, caught off guard
She's a bit attracted to the lack of reaction in His eyes
All the while, he's bent down worshiping on his knees
He's downing doses just to keep His mind turned off
She's begging for Him to hold Her hand, and He's getting good at ignoring
he's not even an equation in the picture; She's only got eyes for Him
&She's praying GOD FORGIVE ME for making him bleed
She whispers, and does that I LOVE YOU even reach Her eyes?
It's looking a bit cold inside when he searches Her face
But he'll ignore the signs and signals and keep up an act of believing
She's simply waiting for him to realize She's a soul sucker, for him to leave
he's an open book; She's such a cryptic message
The blood outlining Her pursed lips doesn't even begin to cover it
he's attracted to the demon perched inside the angel
She's just waiting for the right time to kill the love inside
&He's sitting on the porch killing time when She walks out that door
he's just sitting in their room watching out the window as She smiles
she's calling on the phone and He's whispering against Her neck
This is what we call a never ending cycle of LUST VS LOVE
She's a dead girl walking; holding two separate hands
Caught between who He is and who he isn't
He's a ghost who makes guests appearances
he's a sinner who's playing a dangerous game
she's just an unwilling victim
She's pulling the trigger
he's aiding the murder
He's just shaking his head
