Is This How Lonely Feels?

You won't touch me
You're never there
I miss the feel of your hands
And the way your kisses brush my cheek

Is this how lonely feels?
When you suddenly disappear
Was it because of me
Or just my lonely heart?

You used to love me once
A time unknown by now
And yet at times
I long for your warmth

Is this how lonely feels?
Without your soft whispers in my ear
Passing time without your smile
Or the shining of your eyes

So is this how lonely feels?
Or just how lonely hearts break?

The tone is very personal, like you're writing from experience.
