Hang me on your wall
If I could paint you a beautiful picture of my life thus far
it'd be an abstract water color
smeared in spots and blurred beyond recognition
a shaking hand would touch a wilting flower, begging it to bloom again
and against the raindrops, the wind would fight for life and death
and dying on a wide eyed girl's lips, they would kiss her one last time
and if I could paint you a beautiful picture of your life thus far
I'd leave an open canvas, with colors and brushes set to the side
and I'd smile softly, and say to you,
"this is your life, make it as beautiful as you can"
