Puppet Master.

we are all puppets

I am the master of puppets.
I dangle before me
One life.
A life I can control
Willingly I do with it what I please.
Unwillingly it mocks me.
Unwillingly it taunts me.
How am I to know what to do?
How am I to know how to control it?
One by one the strings break!
One by one they fall before me!
I sit doing nothing.
There is nothing I can do.
Watching as the strings fall,
I catch a glimpse of what that life
Would have become.
There is nothing I can do now.
Nothing I can do will replace it.
Nothing I could do can change the outcome of my fate.
