Blinding Moments of Blunder

It is all the same

the lights all blaze here

in this mad shell of a world

Blinding moments of blunder

Dazzling hours of senseless loosening of the spirit

Screaming to oblivion our wants and needs

Whispering to our lovers our dreams and fantasy

Lying to ourselves when all goes wrong

that life just might get better

when all along we know we have to make it happen afterall

Running through life with no sense of regret

but only for a mere moment do we feel bad

We get on with daily life

praying for the weekends to come

so we can let it all go and walk away

We are human

We are fragile

We like to pretend all is okay

We will always and forever

send our hearts into momentary madness

I do like the way you express your thoughts, however, in my opinion, I would try to make it slightly less direct and perhaps a bit more open to interpretation. But I like the theme and the choice of words.
