The Great Mystery

'The Great Mystery'
by Chris Porter

Traveling a journey,
a day after day existence.
Trying to solve the riddle,
The Great Mystery.

Is it fate?
Are we destined together
or will the crossroads
take us elsewhere?

The mystery of tomorrow.
Who knows what it holds.
Could it lead us together again
further down the road?

Perhaps we will intersect
with other travelers.
Be part of a traveling circus,
see things we've never seen.

The Great Mystery,
never knowing what tomorrow holds.
Scared, I am.
Standing at a crossroads.

Nice one Chris...
I love anything to do with standing at a crossroad....
You can see the road winding on, but the way you leave the reader standing there is great.

Wow you told my story in those few words. But, ya know I love a great mystery. Think we will ever see signs at those crossroads?

I feel your words...I often question myself to where I am going in life. Nicely written.
