Plastilina

Plastilina

Red pen dripping
onto my white paper
gives no meaning
Melting like old friendships
without feelings
Makes me wonder why they left
Why they melted away

Tears dripping
making my paint float together
Everything seem so superficial
and colorless
Like an endless gray scale

Motionless feelings
means a lot
unable to explain these feeling
unable to hurt them

But why understand
and why explain
nameless feelings?

So colorless
Melting away

Eivor Mathilde Raudstein - 2003

I wrote this song after my Granny died in 2003. My granny was my best friend and a great support. You can listen to the song at www.myspace.com/thebandaskembla
