TORPE

you passed me by
today again
you passed me by
like passing rain

i thought i heard
the needle fall
like blades of grass
the winds they call

though hearts
cant jump
how much they will
to let a
damsel know
how much they
feel

beyond your fence
i watch, behold
a face like silk
i cannot hold

so sit i must
and sit i will
let passing rain
go pass me by
and pass my by
today again

beautiful poem. I did however find a part that I either didn't understand and that was "i thought i heared
the needle fall" I think you may have meant: Heard.
