Chances are

Chances Are

Chances are I'll never,
be held in your arms.
Please don't hold it against me,
if I'm taken in by your charms.
Chances are I'll never,
get to whisper in your ear,
telling you all the things
I would love for you to hear.
Chances are I'll never,
talk and laugh with you all night.
not caring that some might say,
it just wouldn't be right.
Chances are I'll never,
see you fall inlove with me.
Because the way you feel
"it just wasn't meant to be".
Chances are one day,
you'll regret the choices you made,
but always keep in mind
my feelings will never fade.
Chances are............
You really don't care, do you??
