Superfluous Lights

networking within the
superhighway
there are hiding the unseen
predators of both good

and evil~
I, personally, am well
aware of their existence
but fail to see where

I fit in with it all~
the good welcomes me
providing uplifting support,
(although their pockets are tight)

I want to trust them, I really do
but in my cynicism I fear they, too,
will counteract The Call
that is so precious to me

I stand quietly holding a
sign indicating my presence
and my objective, and they
believe what it is I am saying

(or not)

but I am still suspect,
or perhaps too sensitive,
believing that supermen conservatives
still surmise I'm against them ~

will someone explain to them
please, that I am not ~
that my purpose is to inspire and
bring a closer relationship

to our Creator.
I just don't do it
(skip it)
their way.

Good description of the Faustian bargain in the struggle of good and evil.
