fleeting heart

The fleeting heart.

oh so reeked with havoc and sorrow is my heart;

as now with this coming we must part;

what will I do, what will I say

I don't know how to carry on, I cannot live another day

without you here in my life I see no reason to live;

My heart so full of sorrow has nothing left to give.

I cannot survive, I cannot go on;

I am lost all alone, a motherless fawn.

What can I do, What can I say?

For you to live with me and never stray.

I cannot find the words, I cannot find a way

to make you love me, to make you stay.

Comparing yourself to a motherless fawn is beautiful. Sometimes these poems (not necessarily yours) can come off like old Motown lyrics. But you've hit some good depth here.
