Crowds

Undetermined I watch like the watchers.
Cannot make up my mind whether I will pick up the banner
or go quietly by the wayside and vanish.
Trust is an emotion,
truth is a by-law of consciousness,

Sincerely yours, maybe ours;
my hand clutches the air
waiting to hold the hand of destiny,
but where is it, where is its warmth, its conclusions.
Its.suppose to guide me, push me onward.

No gut passion, no knawing internal commotion.
Standing still I am berated, beaten down
strings of the past beaded up like a roseery.
One bead stands alone, the others grouped by ten.
I am the alone pearl bead amongst the others.
Perpetual and determined to pray onward.

My feet shuffle to the dance of life.
I have waited a long time and feel nothing
No giving answers come forward to make my intentions
No note passed by another in the hall,
Carry on, my girl, walk the line
The white line.
Slipping through the crowd
now numb I decline and move on.

"truth is a by-law of consciousness," and "I am the alone pearl bead amongst the others.Perpetual and determined to pray onward." - these are gems to read.

whew. I loved the way you penned this poem. I had to read it two times to catch the concept and where you was coming from, but all in all, great work.

Not as upbeat as your last one. I hope it's just a temporary blip if it applies to you personally.

Some minor spelling errors, but I suggest changing 'the alone pearl' to 'lone pearl'. You certainly captured the feeling of not belonging in this one.
