Sniffing Perfume

The complexities of the skin
Smoothed over by the thick oil of the sweetest scent
Penetrating the pores
Sinking down and cradling the mind
With intoxicating dead petals past
Soothing the minds irritations
With alluring scented syrup
Honey for the nose
Coating the eyes with films of lovers and flowers
A faeries fear
When it coats, and cradles,
Your eyes and mind
They are no longer invisible

'A faeries fear' - in the context of this - beautiful
So many gems as well as being enchanting.
I especially liked this weave - 'With intoxicating dead petals past'
Delightful. Thank you.
Have a great trip and make it back so (selfishly) you can take us on more.

When I read 'With alluring scented syrup'
my mouth actually started to water!
What are you doing to me?
Great combinations of words. I love mixtures of words
that seem to crunch and slide around in my mouth as I read them.
