Go down today
We can't break this jive
We can't burst the hive
This feeling's all shook up
All cooped up
No
Place
To
Go
When busting the trap door down
My soul caught fire in the clatter
My heart combusted in her laughter
So,
Not today
I hope it's ok
We can't beat the cats outdoors
Nine lives breaking barriers of sound
Barking dogs like sirens in the street
We can't
I've got to blow sound
I've got to go down
Blank pages in the dusk
I'd like to light a fire
Eat you whole
Flame tongue too
Trips on fire
The snores break my concentration
I've got to know about the
Dove in the penny jar
Stop to think about the way they fly
Instead of the way my spell check malfunctions
And makes me
write wrong
I'd like to break a sound wave tonight
like to close my eyes blindfolded by dark
And write not knowing where
Simple riddle; misspellings splattered on the page
I write induced like a coma dance
It's brought on by the feeling
Awake, quaking the mind somewhere
I cannot get it out
Screw driver to my mouth
