Until Then

Embrace eternal life, dear one
For peace is Heaven's gift;
Rest beneath her boughs and wait
For in due time we all will meet--
Where sorrows never darken the day
And praise takes place of pain.
Then shall you drink deeply from the river
Water--holy, pure, and sweet,
And I, with you when my time has come,
Will worship at His feet.

This is a very inspiring way to let the readers eyes know there is no place better to be than in HEAVEN. I think that you have certainly gave us a virtual tour of whats to be expected when we reach those pearly gates. I Love It!

This is beautiful. A deep yet simple poem w/ a clear message of hope, peace, optimism. I'm a big fan of writers who can deliver their story or meaning in minimal words w/out losing anything. And you did it in 63 words. And it fits no matter what religious beliefs you have.

learning the art of letting go is not easy. Your words, so gracefully written points the way to help us let go when we must. With God's grace, all things are possible. I can't critique this piece because it flows like silk and the message is beyond words I could speak.
