FROM OUT DESPAIR

Despair in life need not be ill,
may be a stepping-stone
to lift you to a higher realm,
where you be not alone.

Stand on the trial that holds you down,
view your pathway clear.
Reach for Life Abundantly.
Clasp what you hold dear.

Life is lived yet day by day,
see what tomorrows bring.
In Hope, do let your heart reach out,
hear your Spirit sing.

Deep within your Soul there is
a place to which aspire.
Lifted up by God's own hand
will know your Life's desire.

All men seek a place of peace
where sun shines in the life.
Receive the power by God's good gift
to overcome your strife.

I seek this place o' peace
Where sun shines in m'life
Believe by power o' God's good gift
I'll overcome the strife.

Lovely spiritual sentiments you've written DonR and I just couldn't resist a poetically personal affirmation to your message.

"see what tomorrow bring." I would either change tomorrow to tomorrows or bring to brings.

"a place to which aspire." A place which to aspire?

I like this very, very much. Good flow, beautiful message!

Very uplifting. It's easy to draw inspiration from hardships in life. But, it's hard to actually act on it. Even harder to accept that a higher power can make it easy for you.
