I was just wondering if the poetry competition winner has been announced yet? If so, let me know, because I would like to submit my poem elsewhere! Thanks

I'm still wondering if you received my submission. I wrote you a few days ago and the deadline is passed.

i think the main point would be to bring your own point of view on a certain scent, or many scents together or alone, of any place where a majority of people might live... i think it's being taken too literaly here, and the competition creators were looking to give all forms of artists there chance by allowing an open subject... for example, fantasy writers could write of a scent in a medievel village, or a futuristic city.... i suppose what i mean to say is that it seems people are looking at it as a flat subject, but it should be taken creatively, and adventurously instead... the subject matter with a little thought could become far more dynamic than just the two word line of the "theme" city smells, when it can be much more... though i'm not a staff member, i would assume the point of the exercise would be to promote creativety and allow all forms of artistic expression to be encouraged. :)

but i do agree that the length of the poem has not been stated... would like to know if there is any limitations to length or not.

sorry to intrude ;),
