Bitter Sweet

beautiful to the sight
until we turn out the light
beautiful to smell
you never could tell
beautiful to the touch
only if it's not too much
tears like rain
leaving a stain
heart pulls; ache
take and take
forgive and go on
try to be strong
strength that holds
try to break the molds
words like knives
stabbing our lives
looks like ice
another sacrifice
stolen kisses on the side
in the kisses we try to hide
soft caress
let's get undressed
precious times
yours and mine
in touch we meet
the pain discrete
that's why this love is bitter sweet.
