To Live and Die in Darkness

Black Roses and Darkness
upon my burial shroud
any less of a sending off
would do a warrior proud.

Black roses for my sweeheart
Red roses for my soul
Decay sets in fully
And Darkness? In total control.

Every line was able to capture me, and the last line was a good choice to finish it off. A good way to keep people interested is to make it short and simple, and you succedded nicely haha.

Another wonderful descriptive piece. "And Darkness? In total control" perfect. Your writing is very good. It puts me in the middle of it and makes me think about it - after I've read it also.
