and bleeding hearts

against white emptiness

and dark sinister nights

dripping

. .dripping;

crimson liquid spills

flowing and trailing;

fingertips already bloody

with lost hopes

and fairytales

staining

. .staining;

. . . .staining'

permanence etched

into skin

into heart;

into sin'

you are the knife

and

he; she; they

are

bleeding

. .bleeding;

. . . .bleeding'

internally;

perpetually;

something once so pure

someone before so kind

now'

upon ivory parchment

artistically bleeding

because of

you

. .you;

. . . .you'
