The Painter is in the Picture

I am both, yet neither
Neither the imaginer nor imagined
Neither the creator nor the creation
Yet both
I give them reality

Without me, there is no them
My reality is what allows them to be
But I don't do the imagining

Not imagining the world to be
Nor imagining myself as part of it
Or in it

Neither the painter nor the picture
Yet both
And beyond

The 'space' that it happens in
/appears in
The reality that gives them reality

Very nice, I cant explain why but I liked the line

"Neither the painter nor the picture
Yet both"

That was a nice line in a very good piece.

I very much like the line, "The reality that gives them reality." It speaks volumes on free will, in my opinion.

A remarkable piece. It encapsulates those private wonderings perfectly.

Very interesting, and very true if I interpreted the piece right. I like it. I like writing that makes me think.

What else besides 'being' does anyone know for sure? I know that I am.. but any label put on that 'I am' I've found to be belief/imagination. I took myself to be the imaginer til now.
