the thin air accentuates my vantage
point
from which I can nearly peer
over my cinematic diary
with wide eyes,
preparing the details
like fads long gone by the waste side
to be donated to the rebirth of souls anew .

the weeds
of compulsion
whither away
beneath
the intensive reflection
'¦painstaking inspection,
of their uprooted veins
gathering
Rampant Thoughts' last echo
into
the deepening canyon of elapsed regret
parched
by the absence of once raging
murky dark rivers of emotion.

default
stirred the chafing winds of indecision
after
gracing me
with the fruits of the ill-chosen
benefiting me
with the words unspoken
showering me
with ambiguous tokens
of that which my stifled heart had not yearned.

steadily the remnants
of an unsteady
uncertain
surely frightened
well intentioned
judgment porous
conscious,
inner twine
tangle
and build momentum
on their journey
toward
a climatic collision
with my-Self.
