diane; in some former life

was a clam

which most closely resembles

a Sam

If Diane were a clam

to wit

she's Sam I Am!

then we could definitively conclude.....

she's a Sham.

Wow. This just took me back to the days of having to read Dr. Seuss a thousand times in a row, only with a slightly larger tear in the fabric.
