Streaming Consciousness [Music, Work, Boring Life]

I feel like just writing, but I have nothing to write. What better method than just pounding the keyboard and listening to music?

The Silversun Pickups are on my Windows Media Player right now. Ever since I first heard 'Lazy Eye,' I've been hooked. One of the few songs that I can enjoy the screaming section of. That and the frontman's voice is nice, even if he sounds like he's 12 y/o or a woman. Bah, it's melodic and raspy. Perfect for me.

My biggest complaint about my life is that it's quite boring. Despite some interesting instances, and a cliche love story, it's mostly dry and tedious. Hell, I'm a really boring guy off of the internet. I can make a story exciting in text or if I prepare it beforehand, but if I just spout things off of the top of my head the cars of my train of thought buckle and crash. Thank God for keyboards, though. Not sure I could live in a pen-only world. In that case, the train would always crash.

Heart of Glass by Blondie is on now. I'm musically omnivorous! :D

I'm going to make a trip to my mom's furniture store later today for training. I haven't gotten a job this summer (mainly because I wasn't ABLE to until mid-July, due to a trip I took to Nova Scotia) and all the wells of opportunity have dried. Last options? Landscaping around my house (with my Dad) and holding down my Mom's shop (with... uhh... Mom). I'm not dreading either, because I know there are many worse jobs available. Today I learn to take sales, make holds, price furniture, write up contracts, etc. I'll be near a computer, too, so I get the chance to do some writing when it's slow (which it will be, most of the time).

Now I'll close this window, because I have 15 minutes to eat lunch. See you later, my chappies.

boredom begets boredom always remember that, i've never relaly been one to get bored, imagination always running wild and all that, but in lazy times when i found my self apathetic many years ago i discovered to-do lists, and i've been an addict ever since, always have a list of things to do, no matter how small, and you'll always get things done and have stuff to talk about. that's my two pence anyway ;)

it's probably better that you can't spout stories off the top of your head: look at the ADD that has become a staple in modern entertainment. nothing means anything anymore!

you should try living in a pen-only world for a little while--it really slows down your thoughts. and you'd be surprised at how much you misunderstand them.
