What the Sun Has to Say

The inability to imagine
Blinds you from a shattered amber horizon

So cry your slow motion tears
And feel your unwanted fears
Embrace your innocent years

And know to let go
Of today's melting gold
For the sake of tomorrow's rising crimson.

A very wonderful piece--it almost has an Asian feel to it. I love the image of a shattered amber horizon. Very inspired!

Isn't the rising of the sun beautiful and the setting thereof? I love the life you give to both and how closely it reflects our human nature. We rise up like the sun some days and others like the setting of the sun.

Extremely well written in so few words.

Excellent.

This is full of heart, emotion, and the imagery flashes like the sun's rays into the reader's mind, blinding.

Very cool!!

Very cool use of rhyme; it abruptly changes the momentum. Nicely written.

I like the use of colors as nouns [ie rising crimson].
