Salt

At one time I had visions of a valley full of vines
As the waves crashed against the rocks past the ridge
Just beyond, just beyond, and oh, the salty air
Now always the vision of you falling into my arms
So much more than Angel, so much more than anything
Teaching me how to dream, how to love, complete
Tears washed away by the picture of you
Bad drawings on your back will make her talk
Spark and wild and ride and love and float and free
Aggression be gone, be gone and oh, the salty air
Still in my nostrils, I will love you for too long
Breathing into the light, silhouettes, processed beats
Palm catching face, the storm and the heat
Japanese silk curing the need for somebody
Not somebody on their own, on my own, and oh, the salty air
Translating freedom, but wait, bound by these ropes
Feels like home, creating my private universe
Despite the crowded house, crowded house and oh, the salty air
Painting YouPhoria, personalizing wellness in Xcess
Eat and kiss the dirt on your fingertips, Angel mine
In your eyes I am the fountain of youth, pure lines
Destroy the perfection, take me off the stool with red wine
Wander round ideas of broken chairs on marble stairs
And a burning bush within your eyes, speak
Speak with your tongue, speak with your lips
Salt in my tears, Salt in my blood, oh the salty air

On your breath, you kissed my wounds

This reminds me of something from a poetry textbook.
