when i die

Do NOT dress me up in anything too fancy for my funeral
Give me a pair of pyjama bottoms and a cozy band hoodie to wear
Not some bullshit outfit.

Put a bottle of Pepsi and a pack of cigarettes in there with me
Take my shit, and give it to my best friends
Give Serena all her clothes back
God knows I have most of them still here

The signs on my walls and my MP3 go down with me.
Make sure everyone knows that I'm dead
Tag my name on the walls of the school

Make sure I'm remembered
Make sure I'm never forgotton

Think of all the stupid shit I've done
And laugh
Because a lot of that crap was fuckin' hilarious

Fine sentiments for when you've gone. Because when you've gone it doesn't really matter what you're wearing or what you take with you. Those left behind will think what they will and only the ones that cared will really miss you. Leave something to make them smile, leave a 5,000 foot high statue of yourself giving them the bird, and somewhere inside they'll remember you. Nice write, Kelsey, although perhaps you should have the 'I / i' personal pronoun standardized - are you an 'I' or an 'i'? Cheers - Grae.

Finally. Someone that actually means it. I come across a lot of 'when I die...take this...take that...just remember me' poems. Yours however actually means it. I felt your voice come through the words.
