The walls that I

am trapped inside

are thoughts that I

wish I could blow away.

The pain I feel when I fall

on my knees

is all but what I need.

I can see the message

in this hurt.

But I wish I coul learn another way.

A dieing loved one

just one more goodbye.

The walls have me trapped inside.

There's pictures of you

and pictures of them

all up on the wall.

I wish I could visit all

of you.

The world on the outside has

long passed on.

The voices on the inside

are ringing again.

The walls have me

trapped inside.

The world is gone

but the voices are still here,

The pictures have all

been torn down.

The memories remain

scarred on my brain.

The pain is all but what

I need.

I can hear someone

knocking at the door.

I dont know if I will

answer or if I will

just cower in fear.

I can see the moon rising

again, sometimes I wish I could

rise with it.

Suicide has not entered my

mind even as the demons dance around my bed.

I cannot see how they live in here

with me.

Cause with all my despair

even ghosts get tired

and go home.

The walls have me trapped

inside.

That other place is gone

but the pain is getting worse

the pictures are gone

but the memory remains.

This pain is all but what

I need.
