The Celestial Bridge of Love
Look at the moon,
So radiant, glowing and pretty
Like a fair, pleasant, plump ol'lady
Surrounded by twinkling stars,
Like mischievous children
Today, they don't look like mere celestial objects
A weird thought occasionally crosses my mind-
They have a purpose,
They know everything,
They have seen the whole world
Because the whole world has seen them
They are but mute observers
To all good and evil
On the basis of which our future is writ
Further- their purpose is not one,
They are bridges
Bridges between distant loves
They never fail,
Serving as immortal eternal mediators
They join parted hearts
Because a journey a day around the world,
Is an inescapable routine for them!
