Dream Catcher
I'm just a girl
Through walking dreams
I see your thoughts, your fears and schemes
The men you've loved
the girls you've kissed
A ghost walker through dreamy mist.
I'm just a girl
Who flies at night
Gently soaring like a kite
A wistful presence
Gentle guard
Between your dreams and 'marish scarred.
Amongst the living
And the dead
Begins at night alone in bed.
Drifting onwards
Letting go
A web of terror, soft white snow.
I see your secrets
walk your desires
Fantasies of burning fires.
Lovers in the
Nights so warm
Memories like wasps that swarm.
I'm just a girl
My job to do
Beyond the sleeping, watching you.
I'm just a girl
Who dreams of love
Watching all from up above.
