Him and I - The devil disguised
He wears lies upon his sleeves,
where I would wear my heart,
He brings pain with breaths he breathes,
I blow only my good parts.
He's void of all remorse and guilt,
A trait I cannot master,
Around him all the good growth wilts,
Bring many lifes disaster.
As he tramples those I love,
I try to reel them back,
the deceits so sweet when It's unreal,
my attempts crumble and crack.
Powerless to his abuse,
What is it that I lack,
whilst I try to give you love,
He stabs you in the back.
and if one time our paths should cross,
will he look me in the eyes,
and I'll give him penance back,
and revel in his cries.
