Do I Remember

Do I Remember

Do I remember, yes I remember

I remember it like it was yesterday

The smell of the air

The clouds, the sunsets

The beach so long in the distance

I remember your touch

Your caress, your kiss

I remember the sand in between my toes

Never wanting this day to close

See I remember

I remember it all

The way I felt so alive and free

Free to be me

Free to lie on Venice beach

The sun so hot

As I quench my thirst

How a single can of coke

Could mean so much

I can still smell the Joop you wore

Still hear the words you whispered in my ear

I still remember it like it was yesterday

I wish it was but its not

But remember this

I'll love you for ever.
