Another Day, Another....

A magnificent view
Peeking boldly through
Lone magenta hues
Is how it mostly begins
But eventually, he pensively calls upon his many lovely, brilliant friends

I roll over into the ritualistic position
To encounter the idealistic transition
The encrusted visage hears the call unbeknownst to me
And even though I seem to be, they are no longer sleepy

The violet arrangement is due to arrive
The lids are quite happy to be alive
But the anxious masters will them open so that they can finally see
Which hues the artist used and set atop a forest of trees

My window's fixture
A beautiful picture
So bright and splendor
Is how it always seems to end
The blue pushes through dominating all other hues and finally the day begins.

Billie, this is a poem that wants to be read out loud. There are lots of beautiful colours and sounds in it. One little idea - I wonder if you really need the words "dominating all the other hues" because I think your lovely idea of the "blue pushing through" already encapsulates this. Just a thought :-)

What a unique way to describe a sunrise. The piece has a nice musical tempo which made it fun to read. Good job, Billie.
