Good nugget there, tho many believed that Altman's MASH deserved the statue. It was considered too much of a protest movie at the time by the Academy.

This one has so many levels I'm sure I'm probably not understanding half of them, but what I am grasping is great!
Oscar for Patton is fantastic. Takes me to WWII, then George C Scott refusing the statue, then to the movie, back to WWII, heh heh. |
