The Teacher Asks
The teacher asks,
'What do you want?'
And helps you realize
You already have it
The teacher asks,
'What do you fear?'
And helps you realize
It was all in your mind
The teacher asks,
'Where do you want to go?'
And helps you realize
You've never left
The teacher asks,
'Who are you?'
And helps you realize
Your Self

| As a future teacher, this is quite inspiring. I love the truth in its simplicity. Thanks for a nice write! I'm gonna keep it! |

Thanks. Nah, we're too used to teachers and preachers giving more and more to do.. requirements to fulfill, beliefs to adopt. They are no more enlightened than the people they're trying to teach. It's a case of the blind leading the blind. But thats what most of us are used to and expect.
Where in the world will you find the teacher that tells you that you are already free here and now with nothing to do and nowhere to go? |

| I think the teacher's questions can help figuring out your self but nowadays people don't really listen to what the teacher is saying, at least not in that way to meditate upon his words. I liked this poem. Good work. |
