The Prophet

The Prophet stands
Overseeing the Horizon
Seeing beyond mere sight
To beyond

Fully knowing
Wisdom beckons
Beyond wisdom of His own

Weakness he owns
It is His alone
No one else can walk it
A Prophets' fate

Feared
He's seen their stares
The all too familiar glare
Saying
Without speaking
'You know about me
You know my secrets
I cannot stand to be in your presence'

The Prophet stands
He is alone
The familiar presence
Beyond His own

...sometimes he wishes that he didn't know what he knows...

Great description. I like the way you've interpreted the enlightened state. One with existence, yet alone, misunderstood, feared.

Thanks for your comments guys! I'm not quite sure what you mean by "bad personal descision" Dick, I feel a prophet walks surrounded by controversy, there are those that stand in marvel of their words and those that recoil at them.

I think a prophet is compelled to speak, their words eat away at them until they can not hold them in anymore - maybe some lack tact in how to say things, but don't we all, it's a learning curve i 'spose.

Interesting, does a prophet carry himself that way? They are men of bad personal descision.
