Hungry
I call out to you,
Turn not away thy face!
My love is unchanged.
Am I not as you like?
No...
Speak not a word,
For I fear it's the last time I shall hear your voice.
For all your airs and graces,
I love you still.
Unable to escape your clutches,
I linger.
You flow through me like a river,
Ravaging my soul,
Invading my every thought.
I fear I'll go mad in my longing for the whole of you.
You touch me now
And my spirit weeps.
In an attempt to escape my pain,
I try to weave all things together,
I say to you
Eden is about us still.
Come,
Find joy where there is none.
No....
Forgive me,
Let me be lost.
Before my eyes I am withering away,
And now I wander
In search of provisions
For I have none.
