"Crazy"

How many years have I known you?
Too many to count.
What is it about you?
The reasons seem to mount.
Every time you're near me,
It's as if I cannot breath.
I hear you speak,
And watch you move,
And it's like Christmas Eve.
The anticipation of what you'll say,
And which song you will sing.
The way your lips curl when you smile,
The way your laughter rings.
Your gentle spirit leaves me floored.
Your kind heart leaves me in awe.
Yet with all this greatness you posess,
there still is just one flaw.
You have yet to see my heart
And I cannot see yours.
And when I think I start to see,
You gentle close the doors.
