My son married a few weeks ago, and his father said he'd be there but didn't bother to show. No matter how old they are, the pain is still felt with a childs heart. Another excellent piece, Matthew.

Kind of depressing Matthew. I prefer your lighthearted work.

This touches me.
It is in the same form as Decimation, isn't it? I wonder if I should do a syllable or word count.
Interesting form.
It gives Decimation more value, although really each poem in a way stands alone.
Interesting.
This is the better of the two I have read so far ... power of the last two words.
And MY father was ma-fuggin' absentee!
