Pitiful State
Pitiful State
A Poem by Identitycrisis
The world's in a pitiful state
Uneven skies, pale and gray
Fake clouds, poison haze
Solid strips of white, crystallize
Xing out blue, stars, and planets
Besprinkled scheme of elimination
Slaying, transparent lies told
Often ignored, easily sworn to
By monstrosity of government
Plagued thoughts and dreams
Once, of joy and comfort
Now, new laws of the jungle
Overcome by self awareness
Stealth of ruthless nations
Preach, begetter of life and planet
Destructor, swindlers of nothing more
Than what's been handed over
Ordered doctrine of extortion
Commitment to oldest myth
Further supporting glutton
While super sizing ass[ets]
Provide all knowledge
Oh, ambition slave, tool of upper-hand
Helped to enforce covert destruction
Reconsidering complacent nature
Forget glory of voluntary stature
Neglect of perception, no speculation
Cries of dissent no longer an option
Grey matter once full of idealized nation
Result, enslavement by bourgeois banker
