Ascending to Lucidity...a definition in redress
each day's lesson
in defining my possession
leads me to the perfection
of second
and third meanings.
responsible.
to who?
you,
collecting my signature
at intervals
for my overpriced life
which offsets my loves
in pursuit of overdraft
protection?
responsible.
for releasing the truth
of past
Miss.
-takes
-conceptions
-understandings.
no longer
indebted
to the consequences
of that I had to live in order to learn.
loving
and its weighty saucer
that
i dropped
and broke
collected the pieces
& glued in place from memory
only to discover pieces missing.
scavenging
the point of impact
I found the shards
embedded
within
after acute pain
drew my attention
in the absence
of his
loving.
and its tag
dangling
from my heavy perception
of what it entails
in 'your' eyes.
loving
passionately
all that i had set aside
for
later.
another term to define.
later
and its synonym, now.
I thought I'd have more time
to figure
out
the defining lines
of all that I had no answer to,
before.
that I would have an undefined
amount of time
to know
me
later.
I would know my essence
later
I would have the recipe
to what stirs
my mystic makeup
and paints me
like the others,
though a strand
unlike
the common thread
of my surroundings.
creativity
I breathe
and conflicts
with the status quo.
excavating my truth
and its unconventionality,
shapeless
piercing
and intellectually
indescribable.
the knowing
shows me
what I'd rather not.
creativity
poors into
my environment
crafting beautiful
thought,
of which
many admire
but few buy.
leaving me in quandary
of the purpose
of my
creativity.
here
and now,
in a time
where price
bares
the only value.
daring
to be.
daring to try
daring to find
the cure
behind
so many sad eyes
that meet my smile.
daring
to set aside
security
to succumb to
the invisible
tsunami.
daring
to peek behind the veil,
daring
to take on the chance
of failure
to live
gracefully
within the joy
of my dream
without 'your' approval.
and strong
enough to follow through.

which offsets my loves
This line doesn't suit, it'd be much better if you used longer lines. I'm sorry this isn't your best.. |
